Crochet Quotes

I know crocheters out there have experienced some or maybe all of these funny encounters while working on their projects.
So READ. RELATE. REPOST. Enjoy!

The almost-done-but-yarns-are-already-gone moment.

That's why I love pinterest more than fb. It keeps you busy with crafts than being idle and busy body.

Every row counts

Crocheters could see a vision of potential project while looking on a sheepskin.
They label every part accordingly.
Crocheter's obsession

Time flies but ideas fly a little faster.

A language which can be transformed into a beautiful work of art.

Crochet + Internet distraction = Slow progress

But sometimes I get distracted by my own thoughts while counting.

Crochet Bible Cover

This is my first post on crochet project. The biggest work I've done so far. (Well, beginner here!) It's a bible cover. It took me 3 days or 4 to finish it. I can't believe I'm using it now. It's like my bible is wearing a sweater. I can feel the warmth. When my brother saw it, he wanted me to make one for him too. Oh, that means another project is pending.

Although, I've found a lot of inspirations over the internet on how to make a bible cover out of crochet, I decided to make my own design. I love combining colors, for this in particular, I chose autumn color paletteI used single crochet throughout this project with a combination of crochet pattern which can be found below.

I've known crochet since I was in grade school. My mom taught me the basic things, like the proper way of holding the yarn and hook in my hands and how to start crochet. But I was impatient and less interested to make it a hobby back then. Yet, it's never too late to learn and love crochet again. So I gave my hands another chance to hold the yarn and hook after 15 years. But this time, it's different, because I'm more willing to work and finish a piece.

It's been a month of non-stop crochet projects. I have finished 4 crochet work this month, not bad for a beginner. More ambitious and more determined to crochet challenging pieces. This day, as I officially open this blog to the public eye,  I hereby certify myself as a full-fledged crocheter, oh and a blogger at the same time. I wish to share my projects with you from time to time.
